We adhere to all principles of The Modern Slavery Act 2015 in our working practices and have a Labour & Human Rights Policy covering this area.
As a small business of less than 25 employees with an annual t/o of less than £2.5m, we are not required to publish a policy statement. In general, we also consider Forepoint exposure to slavery/human trafficking to be relatively limited. However, we can confirm that we adhere to all principles of The Modern Slavery Act 2015 in our working practices and have a Labour & Human Rights Policy covering this area.
All employees are required to read Forepoint company policies as part of our quality and progress-monitored staff induction process. Staff are informed of any new policies or updates to policies via email and our weekly companywide meeting (Tuesday Tea Break). They are required to acknowledge and confirm they have read these. Employees have permanent access to all Forepoint policies via a shared company server. We provide training for all policies as required.
All new suppliers are also required to read all relevant Forepoint policies and to confirm they have done so prior to commission. All suppliers are brought up to date with amended or new policies via email.
Confirmation that they have read and understood these is required and monitored.
Forepoint requires and monitors confirmation that all policies including the Labour & Human Rights Policy have been read and understood as part of our ISO9001 accredited Quality Management System.
Our Labour & Human Rights Policy document is made available to any interested parties on request.
