The day brought the Forepoint team and our extended family together for another successful day of reflection, celebration and preparation for the year ahead.
This year, we were also honoured to welcome Mark Clemmit, BBC Sport and BBC 5 Live presenter, to the pitch to give the team a pep talk on how to be a more confident communicator.
Kick-off
The day kicked off with presentations from partners Steve, Keith and Ralph. Together, they revisited the journey that has shaped Forepoint’s business transformation – promotion from a creative agency to a creative consultancy – and defined the levels of expectation within the business moving forward to ensure best possible outcomes.
CAP1 was our ‘ready’ stage.
CAP2 was our ‘set’ stage.
CAP3 was our ‘go’ stage.
CAP4 was our ‘next level’ stage, performing and delivering against the foundations set in previous years.
Our Management Team clarified how their team role will support all operational areas of the business – aligning Board objectives with the wider team’s daily activities – to ensure we have the right structure and guidance to continue delivering great work and great results.
The morning’s presentations ended with consultant Lucy Unger giving an insightful analysis of our combined team Clifton Strengths programme activity to date. Clifton Strengths help individuals and/or teams understand what they naturally do best, to help maximise team performance, engagement and self-awareness. Lucy’s talk allowed us to see where our collective strengths are, and to understand how we use our own and other’s individual strengths to drive better performance.
Second half
Our special guest Mark Clemmit (Clem) took to the pitch in the afternoon to share his ‘25 tips to more confident communication’. He brought energy, humour and a wealth of experience to his session, which included exercises of personal reflection and a share of examples designed to help us better understand the impact of tone and body language.
We loved his “I never said she stole my wallet.” example. The meaning of the sentence changes entirely depending on which word you emphasise – a simple but powerful reminder that communication is not just the words we use, but how we use them.
He stressed the importance of taking personal responsibility for ‘how you show up’ and how you communicate. It’s one of the most influential and critical skills you need – especially in an ever-increasing digital world.
The team thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and managed to take away some useful tips. Thanks, Clem!
The Big ‘F’ Awards
The much-loved Big ‘F’ Awards returned for another year, celebrating the hard work and dedication of our team throughout 2025.
This year, we asked colleagues to share a short reason as to why they voted for each nominee. This led to a collection of positive comments that were shared back to winners and runners-up.

The awards included:

Extra time and penalties
The afternoon finished with the team having free reign to explore the interactive exhibits, football memorabilia and hands‑on activities in the National Football Museum. A few of the team even managed to get on the penalty shootout scoreboard of the day!
A big thank you!
We’d like to give a big thank you to our extended friends and partners who joined us for another successful Captivation Day.
Special thanks to Luke Richards (photography) & Garth Dew (videography) for capturing the day on film, and to Katherine Wildman from Hayden Gray.
