Where did that year go?

Would you believe it? Today marks the day when team Forepoint (North West) upped sticks, after over a decade at Garstang Road and moved into our new premises at Studio 15, Momentum Business Park. We think it’s safe to say, we’ve well and truly settled into our new space – and what a space it is!

We’d like to point out that no interior designers were involved in the creation of this space, oh no. What do we need outside inspiration for when we’ve got a fantastically creative team like ours? Our (now not so new) space is designed by us, for us. It represents everything we are – professional, chic and savvy but there’s always that important focus on functionality, mixed with a cheeky sense of humour and the requirement for fun.

  • We’re delighted that so many of our loyal clients, partners and friends have visited our new home. It’s fair to say that everyone who’s visited us has been impressed – or at least that’s what they’ve told us! It’s certainly easier for a lot of people to get to: M6, M62, M61 and M65 allowing. We’re also inclined to believe that our new space has influenced a raft of new clients to do business with us – after all, there are clients on the books that weren’t with us this time last year.

It’s been one hell of a year. On the work front we’ve continued to create a wide range of highly acclaimed print, exhibition, video and web projects. We’ve also been instrumental in developing some new, exciting and dynamic campaigns.

We continue our commitment to the next generation, working closely with our partners at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Blackpool & the Fylde College, the University of Oldham and the University of Bolton. We’ve supported students in numerous ways including: setting projects, providing mentoring, providing placements and facilitating portfolio reviews.

We’ve also been busy hosting a number of events, including a screening of InVision’s ‘Design Disruptors’, followed by a stimulating panel discussion in association with Creative Lancashire that attracted a full house and visitors from abroad! We also hosted a roundtable ‘Lunch & Learn’ as part of the annual Glug CANNT festival that was broadcast live on Facebook.

Year 1 in Studio 15 has been a resounding success. Bring on many more years – especially now that we’ve got the room to expand and grow!
