Explore new ways to build engagement with travellers who visit Moto sites and build brand loyalty. With most traveller’s today using a mobile device, a technological solution was the channel with the greatest reach.

Solution

Design and develop a mobile app that could be downloaded onto devices available from major app stores. Offers daily deals saving users up to 40% off the price of their purchase at major high street brands such as Marks & Spencer, Greggs, WH Smith, EDC, Burger King and Costa. Provide key site information and location via Google maps.

Moto is the UK’s leading Motorway Service Area provider with over 45 sites nationwide. To date there have been over 200,000 downloads and the app was a finalist at the Northern Digital Awards 2017.Using API from the website, new deals can be pushed each day to the user’s smartphone and the user simply shows the offer at the till to receive a discount. Deals can be changed by the client using the website CMS and third-party deals can also be added.
