Last weekend (25 June), Walk Team Forepoint (WTF) did it. They completed their #Trek26 challenge, a 13 mile walk around the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District. And they successfully helped to raise over £2,700 to fund the great work of the Alzheimer’s Society – United Against Dementia.
A massive thank you to everyone who donated.
Conditions for the walk in the beautiful Lake District were tough – it was wet, very wet, then sunny, then wet, then sunny… well you get the picture. But thankfully, after a few slips here and there, the entire team made it to the finishing line, insect bites and all.
Congratulations go out to our directors Steve Gill and Keith Noble, designers Karen Garbagnoli, Darcy Trump and Gabe Aplando, head of digital Matthew Simpson, relationship manager Val Ockwell, and project planner Nicky Woodward.
As with all great feats, there’s always an amazing back-up team lurking in the wings – thanks especially to our artworker Jen who got herself all steamed up in the kitchen cooking an amazeballs chilli for the weary walkers on Saturday night.
So, enjoy a few of our snaps from the weekend – what an amazing team, what an amazing adventure and watch this space for more of the same to come.
