We’re delighted to announce a new appointment as Project Planner, Nicky Woodward joins the Forepoint team in Preston.
A Graphic Design graduate of the University of Central Lancashire, Nicky began her career as a designer working on the Channel 4 BAFTA Award winning Phoenix Nights 1 & 2, before moving on to gain experience at a number of reputable design agencies.
As well as fulfilling several design roles, Nicky’s also gained extensive experience as a Senior Studio Manager. She’s worked alongside many large international companies and has been responsible for overseeing their client accounts.
Keeping projects on brief and within budget
Nicky has an excellent track record in delivering projects within budget – and to brand guidelines. With proven skills in ensuring projects remain on brief, that deadlines are met, and that work is delivered to the highest standards.
Nicky’s primary role at Forepoint will be supporting the core projects team and working closely with Jade, our project manager. Large parts of her day will be spent planning and costing design and digital projects, obtaining competitive quotes and producing timely estimates for our clients.
A welcome addition to the Preston team
A lover of the great outdoors, a keen walker and DIYer, Nicky’s also competed in the London Marathon and the Great North Run. She’s even driven across Canada and America in an old VW campervan.
Commenting on Nicky’s appointment, MD Steve Gill said: “We’re all delighted that Nicky’s joined the team. She will be helping to free up our current project leads, allowing them to focus on producing even more excellent work for our clients. She’ll also be allowing members of the team to focus on developing their core skills and do the bits of the job that they love doing, and excel at.
Ongoing agency growth and development
“It’s all part of Forepoint’s master plan. We’re putting more specialist staff in place to continually drive up our excellent quality standards. And building further on the great reputation we’ve built as a creative and ideas agency.
“The global pandemic has been a massive challenge for many businesses, thankfully we’ve fared well throughout lockdown, and to date. However, it’s vital that we don’t stand still. Instead, we need to keep planning and preparing ourselves for the vibrant new future that we know is coming for the business, our people and our clients.”
