Meet our new Head of Digital

Here he is… introducing our new Head of Digital, Matthew Simpson.

Matthew’s a man who enjoys a spot of tennis. He’s a Preston North End football supporter, though we’re told that’s not why he got the job and (apparently) he used to be lead guitarist in a band, though we’ve not heard him banging out any tunes – yet!

More importantly, Matthew joins team Forepoint with a host of digital experience, having previously worked in a number of senior digital roles in placemaking and regeneration as well as local government.

His extensive experience in digital leadership, strategy and multi-channel campaigns boosts the expertise and capabilities of the existing digital team who, as many will know, have a successful track record of delivering a large number of web and application development projects.

What’s particularly exciting about Matthew’s appointment is his passion and knowledge of user experience design, analytics and insight that give us the in-house capability to deliver a far broader range of digital solutions.

Commenting on Matthew’s appointment, Director Graham Bowes said: “Matthew is a welcome addition to our close-knit team. His appointment allows us to drive forward our ambitious plan to deliver a multi-channel service to our clients and the ones we’re yet to work with!

“Technologies are evolving rapidly and it’s vital for us to continually innovate and offer as wide a range of integrated services as possible.”

What does Matthew think about joining team Forepoint?

With three kids, Matthew doesn’t have a lot of spare time, but he manages to be a school governor and to watch his favourite films – Star Wars (episodes IV-VI, pre-special editions) and Toy Story.
