Welcome to new senior designer, Abi Stones

It’s a very warm welcome back to Forepoint for senior designer, Abi Stones.

We obviously made quite an impression on Abi way back when, in 2005, she undertook a student placement with us!

After graduation, Abi spent a number of years with The Chase, a highly regarded design consultancy in Manchester. Whilst at The Chase, Abi won numerous awards for her creative design work including: Roses, Clio Awards, Art Directors Club, New York Festivals and even a D&AD In-Book Nomination.

A move closer to home, and her young family, saw Abi take up a position at Places for People where she played an integral role in growing the internal design team, enabling the Group to bring the majority of its design work in-house.

She’s an incredibly busy lady, Abi’s also been working as a part-time Lecturer at Blackpool and Fylde College on the BA Hons Graphic Design and Communication Degree. Abi’s primarily been responsible for working with final year students, pushing them both creatively and personally to achieve their goals. Whilst at the college, she’s also been supporting the development of vital links with industry.

Abi describes herself as: “A creative problem solver with an ability to cut through complex briefs with often simple solutions.” She also claims to be a croissant eater, a childish joker and has (apparently) been known to be a general office idiot… It sounds like she’s going to fit in to team Forepoint just perfectly!
