Forepoint is delighted that a number of recent projects were recognised at this year’s IoIC North Region Awards 2012, scooping a number of awards including Class Winner, Award of Excellence and Certificate of Merit.
The cream of the North region’s internal communicators gathered at the Marriott Victoria and Albert Hall in Manchester on Friday 28 September to see their work over the past year rewarded.
These awards look for those communicators whose work is absolutely critical to the success of the organisation for which they work and who operate with skill, flair and creativity and that is why we are especially honoured to have been awarded the following:
- Class Winner in the Design category for the Maritime Capability brochure produced for BAE Systems.
- Award of Excellence in the Corporate Brochure/Annual Report category for the Magnox Lifeltime Plan 2012 produced for Magnox Ltd.
- Certificate of Merit in the Special Publications category for the Sellafield Plan produced for Sellafield Ltd.
Heather Fowler, our Marketing Manager said “Having won numerous awards at this annual event over the years it is definitely a date in our diary that we all look forward to and this year was no different. We are absolutely delighted that yet again our efforts have been recognised and rewarded by this prestigious event.”
Dan Gould of Magnox Ltd said after receiving the accolade “It was a great opportunity for Magnox to be recognised and benchmark its communications products against organisations outside the nuclear industry. This is the first time we’ve produced the Magnox Plan in a way that can be considered for an award such as this… We’ll be sure to incorporate the feedback when we produce the second generation of the document.”
Once again we are honoured to have had our work recognised by the Institute of Internal Communications and would like to congratulate everyone involved in each project as well as extending our congratulations to all the award entrants, winners and hosts for a memorable evening.
